Hey all. Whenever i burn a ripped dvd, the copy wont play in my computer. I get a message saying ' unrecognized file format' or something of the like, and in My Computer, the drive witrh the disc in it is listed as being empty. The dvds play just fine in my set-top, but the computer doesnt recognize them. Any ideas?

This sounds like a corrupted media disc to me.I bought a batch of media a while back which was a mixture of good and corrupted. They burned fine but when you put back in the pc it was coming up as blank but was full.I even managed to get the odd one to play on my stand alone dvd player.Best bet try another batch of media.
