I have been making slideshows for people. It takes hours of time, but I LOVE doing it! I can't tell you how disappointing it is to deliver the finished project to someone, only to find out that the playback is choppy, the music skips, or it won't even load. (It works fine on my DVD player except when using DVD-R). How can I avoid this? Is it my burner, my media, or am I doing something wrong? What kind of disks should I buy? Certainly people who do this as a business don't have this kind of problem, or they wouldn't be in business!

So, when it works fine on your's, it must be a DVD+R?

If you use +R discs, and your burner is capable of it, you should "Booktype" the discs, to be DVD Roms. It makes them more compatible with standalone players. Here is some info on Booktyping:

Good luck! Let us know how it goes?)
