Had not updated 7. just downloaded all updates...said, it needed to remove and then update...well, it removed ALL remnants of 7 but no update.....Aggghhh. As rebooting got box saying could not find some SETUP.exe... now I have NO NERO at all on the disc anywhere. Can not find any download file etc. Where is it and can I get nero to respond with my serial number. All my original discs are in storage 100 miles from where I live now. Ideas what went on...and whoever designed an update system that deletes all files FIRST is an a**hat.
You don't need any of the original files to update. Just run the setup.exe. That contains all the needed files.
