As the title suggests, I have a Wii that is being used outside of its home country. I have a USA system, and am using it in Japan. Now this may sound like a really stupid question, that has a very common sense answer, so I guess that I just don't possess that common sense. It hasn't become common to me quite yet.

Anyways, I scoured some threads, and did a couple searches, but couldn't find anything that related to my question.

Thus, can anyone answer my dilemma, as to whether my system will be ok (ie properly update to 3.0U) if I am to connect it to Wiiconnect 24 over here in Japan?

My system has an original, non-updated Wiikey in it that is performing beautifully, and the firmware is currently at 2.0U.

It should be fine, as I have a NTSC-J Wii and I updated it to 3.0J in Canada.
