    hello i have a question i have been burning vcds and the last 2 i burned ended up being upside down can anyone tell me why please i am kind of new to this so i am really not even sure how to get the best quality movies to burn

    I can only imagine that you tried to make a VCD with an un-encoded file (e.g. an AVI, WMV, ASF..) which, for example, Nero converted (badly), instead with a MPEG-1 (VCD) / MPEG-2 (SVCD) movie.
    First, encode the movie (read some guide in http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/). Second, make the (S)VCD/the DVD.
