I'm focusing more and more on RAM usage during backups and am wondering how I can monitor what's going on, computer-wise, while the ripping/burning process is going on.
Is there an application I need to download that will show this, or is there something already available within Window XP that will show me usage as I'm working with the movies?

Cpu usage also factors into your dvd burning process.
