usb device no being recognized by my device manager

    where its under device manager and u click the ? and and the + sign goes to a minus and shows whast hooked up says on mine on of thge usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows not recognozing it.
    what could be causeing this?

    if that device is a usb version1.1 try un installing the usb 2.0 driver i have a usb tuner that wont function with out getting rid of the usb 2.0 driver

    a messed up usb port? do other things work in that same port?
