This is kind of a hardware and software question so I didn't know where to put it. How does USBextreme work on old style PS2's. I read that they only have USB 1.1 ports so I wasn't sure if they would be fast enough. I read wthat the new ones have USB 2.0. I have a V4 PS2 and was just curious.

I'd go with a standard HD instead of USBExtreme. It's much slower and the compatiblity sucks. And most of the kinks have been worked out of HD Loader/HD Advance.

I was wondering the same thing, cause I bought a 200 gig HDD for my PS2 because I was under the impression that 200 was the highest I could go, and I'd rather use a USB HDD rather than replace my current IDE drive.
