    Hi. :)

In the email notifications, could the "User" in "User just added a new message to a thread called:" be changed to the real member's username? :D

    Thanks. ;)

That is actually a very good point, I look into it and when I wake up, I might actually do it as well, if I still remember it :)

    Thanks dRD. :)

Don't forget to change the redirect script, so a member gets redirected to his/her post after having written a new one or editing an exisiting one. ;)
And reverting the order in which the posts appear under the reply box. :D

In any case, nice work on the forums. :)

Right below the big box where you type your reply is a little box with a check mark in it. Just uncheck this box when you reply to a post and you won't get the e-mail update.

Forgot to mention that you need to unsubscribe to the ones you are already getting.

Also is there a way for the system to recognize me so that I didn't get an e-mail when I was the one that added a new message.

zippyd: It never does that. System never sends out an email to you when you were the person who added the reply.

OK, It must just be the timing of when I get the mail and when I check the thread. I just thought that it did because there are alot of times when I check the update I get in the mail and it was me who had posted last. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Naaahh, thought the topic was good and needed a boost -

IMHO, too many good ideas get lost - maybe the bosses don't care, maybe they don't have enough time and maybe by resurrecting things once in a while they might see it in a different light -

    Who knows, . . . . ?
