I've researched this the past few days and haven't really gotten a definitive answer. Is it possible to install a hard drive via one of the usb ports on the ps2 and have it recognized by hd loader and be able to play my backups from it? There's a few posts on here that vaguely refer to it being possible, but I've read posts on other forums that state it's not possible. Does anyone have absolute knowledge of this one way or the other? I'm asking because I have a japanese ps2 (scph 10000) that I picked up a few months ago and am just now getting around to doing something with it.

Update: Did some more research found it's not really possible and if it were, it really wouldn't be worth the slow transfer speeds you'd get. Haven't tested it myself, but that was what I read on the ps2newz forums if anyone else was interested. If anyone knows otherwise, let me know.
