    Hi all,

My ISP throttles torrent traffic. I use Azureus. The max download speeds I currently reach top out at around 160Kbps. (I'm not looking for suggestions on configuring Azureus, I've optimized all that, not a newbie :p) I'm looking for some kind of tutorial on setting up my own Virtual Private Network (VPN) with Hamachi to use with Azureus to try to get around my ISP throttling. I AM a newbie when it comes to VPN so any help would be appreciated. BTW, I'm not part of a network per say, just using a single, home desktop PC. TIA!

Although your solution would work you Hamachi would need to be installed and running on a PC that has a broadband connection with a ISP that also doesn't throttle BitTorrent traffic. Here is a link for a more viable option...

I use it not to transmit B.T. traffic but to bypass the Bess web filtering software at my school :)
