utorrent help

    im tryin to use utorrent and the little yellow caution sign is sayin something is blocking the incoming connection, ive shut down firewalls and tried opening ports, i called my cable company they said all ports are already open, and when i use portforward it says its not open. What can i do?

    When you say you've gone through port forward to you mean you've looked at all the applical tuts here: http://portforward.com/

    yes ive done the whole stratic ip an all that, ive never restarted my computer after though should i?

    If you manually forwarded through your router, then make sure that UPnP is disabled in uTorrent. Options/Preferences/Connection.
    Also make sure randomize port each time uTorrent starts is disabled.

    You can check your port through Options/Speed Guide, where there is a button to Test if port is forwarded properly.
