I modded my xbox v1.6 then used slayers evox 2.7 to upgrade apps and evox.I put some trainers on it from the internet restarted the xbox and it wouldn't go to dash.I tried to restore the ms dashboard but all i got was a evox dash with only launch disc and system settings.Does anyone know ho i can get it back to retail?
The only way to return to retail would be if you did a MS Dash or C backup from the mod menu before the structure of the original OS was modified. Return to retail, fix error codes, upgrade hdd. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/332766
does anyone know a way i can get my apps back on evox? I tried to install them but nit didn't do anything
Any dash will read your apps if you have them within the "apps" folder. You may have to reboot the box so that the dash lists the apps you've just installed. If you've installed them in the apps and if they dont seem to work, the default.xbe is not being read because you might have unzipped the app within a folder onto another.
