In one of my prevoius topics I stated that I had trouble with my DMS4 EZI SE Lite modchips. Thanks to steimy's and vcbc's advice, I was once again able to reset my bios. Unfortunatly I ran into even more problems after my first one resolved. The ps2 would not read any more disks, even movies, after I had reset the bios. I tried to reset it again to again redo the bios, but when I reset the ps2 it wouldn't fully turn on. I would push the red reset button on the ps2 to have it turn green for about a second, then turn red again. I am not a ps2 pro like many of you here, so I am a novice when it comes to troubleshooting a slim ps2's problems. I am sorry if I am asking stupid questions that could be fixed in thirty seconds, but please help me out anyway. I should also point out that when putting in the DSP chip on the v14 motherboard it caused some of the metal legs connecting the chip to the motherboard to bend. I am not even sure this is even the problem; nevertheless, it does sound BAD. Any help is greatly appreciated, honestly.

PS - I bought this system from EB Games eleven days ago. Just to be Super Duper Sure, I cannot return this for either a full credit refund or relacement after seven days, correct. Seeing as how I had to open the system to install the modchip, I would have to say that the 30 day warranty is out of the question too.

That most likely is the problem. bend the leg out of the way so that nothing is touching the chip than try starting it up.
