On my v220 when I try to use an mp3 ringtone it never works. The song will show up in the sounds section but when I apply it as my ring all I get is dead silence. It is 20 seconds, 90kbps Lame encoding with a 44100hz frequency. Doe anyone know what I did wrong?
I've been trying to solve this problem on my v220 phone for a while now. I'm still not sure why it won't ring, but I have a solution. Put the file in a text message and send it to yourself. It should then let you save the file , and set it as a ringtone. Then it will be in your ringtone detail section and it should ring. That's what I have done, and it works fine. Good luck.
