V4 with messiah chip

    I have a Pioneer DVR-A05 dvd burner and a messiah chip on my v4 will i be able to load backups without a problem?

    also how hard is it to solder the Messiah chip?

    Yes, you will be able to boot DVD backups with a v4 PS2.

    It's pretty darn hard to solder.

    To mbock:
    You have to solder 23 wires for the Messiah chip.
    If you don't know how to solder DON'T !!
    Find an expert to install your Messiah.

    If you want to save some money do research on the Magic 3.5 or Magic 3.0/1 chips. If you have some soldering experience get the 3.5 and try to solder the 9 wires.

    Don't save money on the Chip !
    By getting your PS2 modded (with a good chip) you will be saving money afterall.
