I followed the disassembly guide at modchipstore.org just to check out the internals of PS2, I didn't make any modifications at all to the hardware. I know I did everything exactly according to that guide. Once I put it back together, I flipped the main power switch on and the red light didn't turn on. I tried pressing it anyway just in case and I got nothing. I took it apart again and redid it to make sure I did it right and I still didn't get the red light. I think I might've snagged and damaged the silver cable that connects the reset/eject buttons to the main board. If that's the case, then i'll probably just buy another one. But I REALLY want to know what happened so I know what to get. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks in advance.
