I have a VCD that cannot be played in a VCD or DVD player, but I can play those DAT file thru the winfows media player.
My VCD player can pretty much play all the vcds that I have, so I don't think is my VCD player's problem.
Then I tried to use ISOBUSTER to extrack the MPEG info out of the DAT file, but nothing can be extracted (file size is 0 byte).
Video size from Windows media player properties is 352X288, bit rate is 1150000bits/s
I am wondering what I can do. Any ideas.
    Thanks

    its PAL.
and you're from NTSC land ?

it just that the vcd might be just not compliant....

    Hi Shiroh,
But my vcd player can adjust to both pal and NTSC TV.
When I put it in my VCD player, the VCD player display "NO DISC". It just won't recognize the disc.

If the MPEG is not VCD compliant, is there any way I can rip the DAT file inside the VCD?

    Thanks
