The CDs does not have a storage capacity which you estimate in 'data size', but in 'sectors'. A 80' CD is mady by approx 360,000 sectors (and a 74' was made of 330,000 sectors)

The most common ways to burn a CD are MODE 1/2048 ('cooked') or on MODE1/2352 ('raw').
    This means that
    1) on a Data CD (like you burned a single file) you can burn 360,000*2048 bytes = 737,280,000 bytes = approx 703 MB.
    2) If you burn a CD Image (a CDRWin's CUE/BIN, a Nero's NRG or someting like it), which is written RAW, wou can burn 360,000*2352 = 846,720,000 bytes = approx 807 MB.

Thetefore, since you're talking of Nero images, you can burn them in a 80' CD without overburning!
