   Hi, anyone had trouble playing VCDs on Samsung 709 DVD player?
   
   I have converted some Avi to mpg-1 using TMPGenc, then burnt to disc with Nero, but DVD just says " No disk".
   
   Any ideas would be great

   Did you burn it as a VCD?
   
   Have you checked the compatibility list of your player?
