I downloaded a movie and burned it to CD's using "Nero". I can play the discs on my computer, but not on my stand alone Toshiba DVD player. All I get is the message "disc error". What am I doing wrong?

Yes, it does support Video CD. In checking with Toshiba I found that the machine will not play CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R or DVD-RW discs. Is there some way around this or do I need a new machine? Will the newer machines accept these discs?
