i have the vcr hooked up to the tv card a Sparkle tv card version V4.30-9X TV . i use the programe video wave version 2, however it doesnt at times recognise divx 5 although i do have this on the pc. so i need a decent tv capture programme to do my work with that will not crash and be able to cope with maybe doing a capture of a maximum 4 hours worth of video tape occasionally when i am about 15 mins into a tape it freezes and crashes despite there been pleny of harddrive space available cheers for any help u can give
Try VirtualVCR, DScaler, Stoik video capture. All free. Get the updated WDM drivers for that card here: http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/ You can also try these ones: http://www.iulabs.com/drv/download.shtml They are both far better than the stock ones.
