VHS to DVD

    I wanted to take some old christmas movies and putthem on DVD. I have a TV-Out Card so I'm fine in that respect. But I was wondering how I go about getting it to the drive (does Nero 6 Support this) and once it's on my drive what format does it need to be to be able to go in my stand alone DVD Player.
    I have a LG GSA-4040B Burner.


    If I could get some help on this I would very much appreciate it.

    i'm not sure if you LG burner is a dvd burner or not? but you can convert your video files to vcd format using TMPGEnc

    Too make this even worse you to worry about DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW always check if your standalone can read these formats

    There was a nice website that had almost every single DVD player ever made and had users reporting and what it supported, it was really detailed , hang on i'll try and find it one sec.....
