I have home movies on VHS that I would like to burn on DVD. I must be able to connect my VCR to the computer. I just don't know what hardware I need and how to proceed. If anyone has already done this, I would appreciate some help. Thanks a bunch.

I use a Gateway DVD Recorder. It replaces the vcr for recording from tv. I connect the vcr to the recorder, record the vhs to dvd, then use dvd shrink on computer to create movies.
