I'm sorry if this sounds too simple but after 20 years of using vhs machines, my infrequent need to copy is here again and I am not getting anywhere. Two machines cords "IN" on one and "out" on the other play on one and record on the other... what could be simpler..ugh What is the poop with the safety tabs on each tape..sending and new one receiving. Thanks in advance
Hi, I have two VCR's and copy programs from one to another. Put your master tape in and cable to "out" then on other vcr put cable to "in". The safety tabs stay in place-only take them out to protect tape from being recorded over. Here is the tricky part-on the 2nd VCR- not the master- there should be a remote button labeled "input". When I copy I push it to change from a channel to Line 1 or L1 and it gets it's signal from the other VCR and not it's own tuner. Ta-Da!
