OK, I am working on my mom's PC. I had it setup to display on an LCD TV, with a wireless keyboard and mouse so she could play Solitaire from the comfort of her sofa. She stopped using it for a while then when I went to check something out it would go blank after the Windows logo. So I brought it home thinking it was as simple as updating the drivers.

It is an eMachines T4510(yes I know it's old but he doesn't do much with it). I had installed a GeForce FX 5200 video card a while back. I tried downloading and installing the drivers to no avail. I even went in to the BIOS and disabled the On-Chip VGA, which I hadn't before but I figured what the hell. None of these have worked. It has SP3 installed so that shouldn't be an issue.

Any ideas? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. That's where I downloaded and install the drivers. But once I go back to normal mode, it goes blank.

try a system restore to just before last time she used it. try uninstalling the video driver & restart windows so it can find new hardware & load it's driver.
