Hi all Basically my Dad has an iPod video and today has had a problem with it. It seemed to freeze and is now very sluggish while i'm charging it. When i tried to turn it off a moment ago it came up with this message that Dad mentioned earlier to me. *** Firewire connections are not supported. To transfer songs, connect theUSB cable provided. Press center to dismiss *** Any ideas on what this could be or what needs to be done? Not had the problem before now, and i've not had the problem on my iPod which is the same. I did that 'soft re-set' with the middle button and the menu but it's not helped from the looks of it. Ideas/Thoughts?
Try updating to the latest iPod software. This may fix this bug. Never heard of this one though. If this doesn't work, try restoring it or post back please.
