Many CD now come so that when you play them in a DVD player they have still pictures or video clips displayed while music is playing.

Is there an easy way to do this yourself, or would you need to use a DVD?

Are there websites to download visuals effects for CDs and how do you overlay them with the music?

Is this a dumb question, or does no one know the answer? I am new to burning CDs.

I think what you are talking about is a VCD (Video Compact Disc) or SVCD (Super Video Compact Disc). In order to view a VCD or SVCD on a DVD player, your DVD player must be able to handle this format. Can your DVD player play VCDs and/or SVCDs?
