Last night I was watching the fox show, On The Set, and saw that one of the videos had some special effects in it.

I am trying to look for the name of the effect or the name of the plugin that will help with it.

Description: At one point, the protagonist of the story flings a bunch of laundry hangers into the air, with the special effect they created a frozen object in space. They remained in motion and proceeded through the film, which other objects have been frozen as they walk around them. I don't know if this is a stopped frame that is carried over or if it is an actual technique requiring a plugin.

If anyone has an idea, please let me know.

I believe they were using Final Cut Pro HD.

    Thanks

I haven't seen that so I'm not exactly sure what you mean. It could have been done with a green screen with two layers of videos (Final Cut will handle that).
