Video Streaming

    Hello everyone,

    I would like to get some advice, or if someone could point me in the right direction. I want to get into event video streaming. I have a pretty good machine which is a

    - 2.1 Mhz w/ 1 GB of RAM
    - have a ATI video card w 256MB RAM

    i am looking for the right capture card. I would like to be able to not only do live video streaming but additionally store the video that I capture to allow me to burn the events on DVD.

    Any advice or information that anyone could provide will be greatly appreciated...

    Streaming to what?
    LAN, internet, HomeTheatre...?

    I will be trying to get jobs streaming events, such as churches, local sports events, social gatherings, confeerences, etc...

    Streaming to the internet. THanks in advance for any feedback.
