I've read through the posts on other threads regarding burning and copying PS2 game discs in order to, among other things, view the files contained on them. But I have a more specific question. I am wanting to somehow read the full transcript/dialogue in MK Deception's konquest mode for the PS2 (and for the Game Cube in the future) but I don't know if the same burning/copying methods will allow me to do that. I'm quite unfamiliar with this process and would appreciate any help I can get. If this has already been answered please forgive my ignorance and direct me to the appropriate thread.

    Thanks,

I tried that but I don't think it's showing all the files. I can't open most of them anyway because my computer doesn't recognize most of the extensions (.IRX, .SFD, .OVL, .MS2, .MS4, etc.) Is there a program that would let me open these so I at least know what I'm looking at?

I don't no but if you just want to read the dialog you could probably find it on the internet but i don't no if there would be any readable transcript or dialog on the disc maybe post on another thread regarding this as your problem if its on topic

That's just it, nobody on the net that I've found seems to be too concerned with the dialog in and of itself. They have posted some of the dialog as it pertains to missions and whatnot. The problem with MKD's konquest mode is it isn't linear so if I copy the dialog by hand during gameplay I'll never be sure if I have it all. I've seen on this site that it's possible to link the hard drive of the PS2 with my PC, do you think that would work? That is, could I let the PS2 do the decoding for me and then somehow use my PC to search for the dialog on the PS2?
