    Hi,

when i'm going through my music file, i want to arrange my music files in a folder to be the latest 'modified'. I have done this using these steps: right click (inside the folder) - arrange icons by - modified.
The problem is, when i close the folder and go back to it, the files are arranged differently eg by name etc.
I clicked: view - choose details - and clicked the 'date modified' option. But when i come back to the folder at a later time, the date modifield which i have clicked, automatically becomes un-ticked.
    Its very annoying.

Can anyone help me with this problem..?

    Have you tried this:

Arrange the folder the way you want to see it, then:-

Windows Explorer menu - Tools - Folder Options - View tab - click Apply to All Folders button in the Folder Views part at the top - Answer "Yes" to the dialog - click OK.
