Viper Extreme Cobra 1.6 USB Adapter

    I am running Viper Extreme with Cobra 1.6 on my PC but my PC will see the viper when I connected via the USB cable. I think I installed the drivers correctly. What can I be doing wrong? The error message is "Couldn't connect to Viper USB Adapter".

    I had the same problem using the viper usb flash tool and never got it to work. And I eventually managed to destroy the chip by messing around with various other tools.

    Now i have a new chip, but i'm going to stick to dvd flashing.
