hi, i tried uploading videos onto youtube, youtube only allows videos up to 10 mins. well i done a lot of stuff to my videos. like switch them to AVI format for the virtual dub. and i downloaded them from torrents. and well i need help with the videos. when i split the video into a part and try to save it, an error pops up and says. - The source video stream uses a compression algorithm which is not compatible with AVI files. Direct stream copycannot be used wiht this video stream. - does anyone know what that means? and what i can do to fix it? Thanks Chris
The message means the video format is not AVI, you cannot use direct stream copy, you must select full processing mode, then select compression then select a compressing codec like DivX.
i have used this program called super which converts it into a different format.. So ill do that, i also emailed someone who knows about it. so i will email him and see what to do with super.. i just needed to know what that means.
