virtual dvd drive help!!!!

    hi!anybody know how to get rid of a (3) virtual drives!its driving me crazy.they wont go away tried everything.
    can anyone help?

    How did those virtual drives get installed in the first place? Daemon Tools? Alcohol_120? You should first try to use the original application to change the number of virtual drives down to zero, then uninstall the application entirely ( or at least use msconfig to prevent it from loading at windows startup).

    both!ive uninstalled both without any success,they just come back no matter what i do.

    Use msconfig to see what programs are loaded as part of the startup. Uncheck the culprit program. Those drives are installed anew with each windows startup. Then go to device manager and remove the virtual drives if they appear there, but only after you're sure that the startup routines won't put them bck.

    SORTED THE PROBLEM OUT!HAD TO REMOVE SCSI RAID CONTROLERS IN SYSTEM DEVICES.
    THANX FOR THE HELP
