virtualdubmod cannot open my video files anymore.

    hi.
    im using virtualdubmod v.1.5.10.2.
    im using it for a long time now. im using it to make screen shots of videos i want and then oppenning those with virtualdub v.1.9.11.0 and then im making gifs as my hobby.
    today i tried to open a random video with virtualdubmod and i couldnt.
    i tried every video i have(and i have alote)and non were able to be open.
    when i open the video im using the:"using avisnyth template" option and im chosing the "directshowsource" option.
    the messege i get is:" the source image format is not acceptable. (eeror code -2)

    can u plz help me fix it?

    Tried reinstalling AviSynth?

    yes.
    i have reinstall Avisynth and i intstalled the newst ffdshow as well.
    i have no idea why nothing is working.

    i also want to add that it doesnt matter what i choose in the"using Avisynth template" option. vdm end up with errors and not oppenning my video files anymore.
    and i havnt changed a thing on my computer.

    Something else I remembered - not specific to VirtualDubMod.
    Found that none of my AVS scripts worked - tried uninstalling etc but had overlooked the plugins folder.
    I copied it to another location and deleted the original;installed basic Avisynth and verified that a single line script worked;started copying back the plugins to the folder until I found the one that was buggering up.
