vista and bit torrents. HELP PLEASE

    I just got a new desktop with vista and I can't seem to ever get anything downloaded. I get unknown publisher and FILEext errors all the time. HELP PLEASE...jc

    Dump Vista and go back to XP.

    Amen to that, stupid DRM. Nothing but a pain >=(

    Thanks for explaining the DRM. So can anyone tell me how to take a OS disk that came with a laptop I got last year and put the XP on my desktop too? I've seen some mentions of partitioning a hard drive. Will that work?

    torrents are running just fine on my vista, cant play divx yet bbut working on it,
    hey are all the torrent videos done in a theater??

    if that's just a restore disc, it won't work on your desktop. if it's an actual copy of windows, we can go from there by having you google how to install windows.

    apparently some people can, but i wouldn't bother.
