I downloaded a dvd of a concert (not compressed), and the sound isn't syched with the video. My guess is something happened while it was downloading. This is strange to see in a .vob I've had it many times with mpeg4 stuff and I'm pretty sure that can be fixed with vdub. This, though, I don't know. If I try to edit the vobs in V or NanDUB I get this error:

"MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error"

Does anyone know what this means or how to fix my problem?

    Thanks alot,
    Andrew

Go to http://www.aximsite.com/boards/archive/index.php/t-3692-p-2.html and do a 'find' using your browser for 'pack'. Somewhere more than halfway down the page is information about visiting virtual dubs web site and how a guy solved his problems - which sound more or less like yours. good luck. something about how virtual dub will not read mpeg2 (vob). this, supposedly, is the d/l you need: VirtualDub-MPEG2-AC3 1.5.4
