So maybe I've completely missed something here, but why isn’t
there a software that can accept pre-ripped vob files without
any ifo files and burn them DVD-R. I ripped some DVD's awhile
back using smartripper and I split the vob's by chapter. I now
have a DVR-104 and want to burn these. Obviously I don't have
the ifo's or any of the other files from the original. I've
tried ifoedit, but it doesn't work for me.

Wouldn't a software, that could take the vobs that had been
ripped by chapter and create a DVD-R from them using those as
the chapter points be the simplest solution to the DVD-9
problem? I've read all the guides, but I must be missing
    something. Can anyone help?

    Hi.

I can't help but I have been trying to do exactly the same myself - so I am hoping you get a good answer!

Perhaps a long way round is to use Virtualdub to get out the AC3 - keep that - and then use ReMpeg to convert the VOB to M2V. You can then use SpruceUP to add a menu and export to an image file.....thn, finally, burn it with say Prassi.

I don't actually know if that works but am half way thru it at the moment.

    Good Luck
