Hi, is there a way to convert Vorbis 5.1 to AC3 (directly so that I could preserve the 5.1 sound)? I am going to make some OGM movies but it is possible that in the future I will want to make DVDs from it.
I know this forum is just about audio, anyway, is it safe to make OGM files using OLD (0.8.4) Oggmux as the new version does not support AC3 files? I read there may be problems encoding AVI and AC3 with the Oggmux but do not know anything about it.
    Thank you very much

Hey I was wondering the same thing so heres a bump to ya. I know it can be done with the help of Graph edit IIRC a guide can be found on www.dvdrhelp.com but its a bit to complicated for my taste.

I don't think LAME is capable of 5.1 audio though =(
