I do (or try to do) alot of Video Editing with Studio 10. My old Desktop seems to not be able to handle the softwear program and it freezes up alot. I want to buy a new laptop. I am used to HP - just because I am easily able to format the harddrive myself with 1 button. I would obviously like the buy a Laptop with Windows Visa & Microsoft Media Centre loaded on. I have an external harddrive (250GB) that I use to put the videos on so it is not using up much hard drive on my PC. So I dont think I need like 350GB on my new laptop. Am I basically looking for a fast processor? If so which is better for Video editing??
    I shop @ Future shop. http://www.futureshop.ca
    They Mention:
HP Pavilion Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo 2048MB DDR2 (2 Dimm)

    HP Pavilion Intel Core 2 Duo T5200 1.60GHz 2048MB DDR2

HP Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz With Mobile Technology & 2048MB DDR2 RAM

    HP Pavilion AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual Core TL-50 1.6GHz 1024MB DDR2

what are the diffrences in these processors? Which one would be best for me?

    THANKS!
    Robyn

First make sure your programs will work with Vista (proper drivers)

Second try to get as much Ram in it as possible
