Hi all hope you are well,I have a sky HD box in my front room and a standard box in my bedroom. I am looking for something which can send the tv into my kids bedroom, but i do not want to watch the same channel as them(i can only take so much ben and holly). Both boxes have a lead coming from the sky dish.Does anyone know of anything that can help me.Thank you.

no as unless you put a box in their room, you will be watching what they will be

moved to correct forum due to poster's blindness as not a receivers & amplifiers issue.

as mickah says for the kids to watch a different channel to what you watch they need their own box ,that means you will need to change the lnb from a dual output to a quad output lnb . any free to air box will give lots of free kids channels ,however if your wanting disney /nickelodion etc you want atleast a box capable of cardsharing or you need to contact sky and ask them to install a skybox with card in the kids room .theres really no other way to do it .

can also get a sat splitter to share between both bedrooms. however as mickah and piopat say you need individual sat box in each bedroom
