wats the difference between broadband and dsl and cable

    ya i am not an computer expert so can anyone tell me the difference between broadband and DSL and cable plus does broadband use a phone line or a cable line. and wat hardware do i need if i am using a broadband such as a modem or something. thx.....

    broadband can be either DSL or Cable, you will need a modem for either(which your provider should give you at no cost)DSL uses a phone line and cable using a regular cable line(coxial). Cable will be faster than DSL and would be your best choice

    thx but would a broadband DSL work better or a broadband Cable

    NO Cable beats DSL hands down

    heck yeah it is. i have comcast cable and it fast 2mb/s
