    Hey all,

I've been burning some wav files converted from MD onto CDR. The MD tracks sound fine and play through both speakers but once I've transferred onto my pc and burnt the wav files onto CDR it only plays through speaker. Can anyone explain where abouts along the process it's gone wrong? I'm using Music Match to transfer onto pc, Nero Wave Editor to cut up into tracks, and Nero Burning Room to burn onto CDR.

    Thanks :)

If you play the CD in the computer, the CD audio cable is defective. Play the CD in a hifi, so as to check.

If the CD doesn't work well in the hifi, then it's the recording cable between the MD and the computer that is defective.

It might also be a balance setting : check both playback and record mixers of your soundcard.
