ways to avoid 'web nanny' software

I hear theres also a way to do this by adding www.akamai.net as the url and then the page afterwards, like this:

http://a1.g.akamaitech.net/6/6/6/6/sex.com/

This only works for websites though

 

Sorry to bump a reeeealy old thread lol, but I've found some software that can bypass ANY firewall or proxy its called JAP (Java anonymous proxy), it is very easy to configure and works fine at work and at college. I recommend anyone with a similar situation should try this..
