well i burned my first ps2 game today..

    and it didnt work. my play station wouldn't even recognize the dvd copy and instead got the system configuration screen when i turned it on.

    here's what i did, step by step:

    1. copied and pasted the .mdf and .mds files for Dark Cloud 2 from my friend's hard drive to my own.
    2. when i got home i converted the .mdf file to .iso
    3. i patched the now .iso extension with a NTSC-PAL converter
    4. i opened DVD decrypter and checked ISO -> write
    5. then i browsed for the DK2.iso file i created and clicked the write icon @ 1x speed
    6. i waited until it said burning successful.

    WHAT DID I DO WRONG?! *cries*

    have you tried just burning the mds file?
    thats what decrypter normally looks for,the mds file will link the others together

    ^ yes, same result.. i get the configuration screen and dvd is making weird noises :S

    Are you using either a Mod Chip or a Swamp Magic disc?

    yes i have a mod chip installed.
