what are nids

    been looking at all the stuff about the new c f w but was wondering what is meant by nids

    any info much appreciated

    Finally a question that isnt the is not noobish for once (e.g. how to downgrade)

    NID stands for Numeric ID which is a unique ID for a particular Sony function which changes across firmwares. NIDs are calculated from the first 32 bits of the sha1 hash of a function name.
