What are the difference between DVD-R? I mean what does 1x, 2x and 4x mean also does it matter to a dvd burner on your pc? I have a panasonic lf311 does anyone know if you can use any of these types of media with this burner?

[bold]the 1x, 2x, and 4x are just the speed of disc. when burnin at 4x it is faster than 1x. but if you're burn a game or dvd movies i suggest burn at lower speed so it wont be any skippin and other stuff. and also if your burner only support dvd+r then dont get dvd-r disc.
