    @ neph

i will have to consult my sponsors before i can give you a quote or a price on your Dodge Dakota parts, i WAS in the Import Racing Scene a few years ago before my Acura Type-R was stolen. but as you probably know, honda/acura/toyota parts are VERY different from dodge/chevy/ford/ parts and to be honest, i never personally worked on a truck before, so you will be years ahead of experience on me in that regards. i had built MY bad boy up from the ground up...stage 9 racing clutch, reinforced iron resleeved/rebuilt engine by JG Engine Dynamics(Javier Guitterez- big name in import racing scene :), port and polished pistons/ reinforced rods..the works...also boostin 12psi hybrid turbo by Drag Turbo(i know the owner personally, had a prototype dropped into my acura) on top of a 100lb NOS setup for that extra "kick". i was all about speed when i was younger, so, i went for 1/4 mile times more than i did for "bling" too, but, i was in "Turbo" magazine a few years back and i am thinking someone who picked up a copy found out where i lived and stole my baby away from me, out of my own parking garage~ you can imagine how sad i was for months after that~ i had the 3rd fastest integra in California, being young i was all proud of that, oh well, we all get older and we move on...i drive a 96' Acura NSX Targa top now, so, if you haven't noticed, i have a thing for Acuras~ they have been rock solid for me and i know the insides like the back of my hand as they say~ :)

ok, i apologize for getting WAYYYY off topic but i had posted my pc specs earlier...hehe and thanks for the compliment neph. i'll see what i can do about the truck parts though, but, no guarantees as i am not very familiar with that niche' in the industry. have a good one

Bummer about your Type-R :( Sounds like that little sucker could run! I remember seeing an old Plymouth Roadrunner pull an 8.8 @ 134 mph one day on the qurter mile - smokin'!

Anyway I started dragging this thread off topic so I need to scold myself for it.

    @ Nephilim,

Let's try to stay on topic shall we? I you want to talk cars then start a car thread ;)

So big deal... my 3.5 floppy is supercharged with Nitro, has a Cummings Blower, (normally not a good combination,) a Manley Cam with 550 lift and 320 duration with roller rockers and lifters, Detroit Locker attached to the 5.87 Zoom ring and pinion and it's case/bell housing is wrapped in Kevlar incase it blows up if the floppy speed gets too great!

And yes, let's keep this thread on PC's shall we?!?!?!? <G>

A blower, (used in my reference,) is actually a giant air pump that compresses the air charge in the intake manifold and cylinders of an engine. You've seen them on Dragsters but they are used on many type engines. Cummings Diesel Engines that are turbo-charged come with them also, hence Cummings Blower. :)

Oh, wow, not sure what to say to that scubabud. I recall the L10 Cummins & their PT pumps very well. Setting up the injector timing was lots of fun! Detroits (V16s) were my fave, sounded gorgeous!.

Sorry to have caused you any embarrassment!! LOL!!

Yes, you should hang your head in shame. LMAO!!!!
