Have mmds analogue connection with N*L in Oranmore. Was looking at buying a Eurovox TX 2008 on ebay. Has anyone got one of these and do they work? I'm a bit of a Luddite, so are they easy to set up? I'm basically looking for a box to just "plug in and play", with the bare minimum of programming. Would dbox 500t/600t or any other boxes be easier to work. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. Keep it simple!!
    Thanks a million

    EV TX is for Chor*s

You will need N*L Digital in your area to receive ALL channels

You only have analogue so a digital box is not much use. As Celt said you need a digital feed.

For plug and play I would say a Eurovox. You do not need a DVB-T box as N** MMDS utilse a DVB-C variant so it is similar to a cable signal.

Thanks for getting back to me Scouser. What model would you recommend? Eurovox Max 2008?? I have no real idea/preference, except for the easier to set up the better!! It can be the bog standard EV so and not EV Tx??

Yep bog standard 2008 Max V. Just load the Kuro Beta File to it you will find it in Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post. All you have to do is press download. When you get it come back and we will tell you what frequency range you need and how to scan them in. All in all a few minutes work.
